Cup of Joe Kitchen Soap

Coffee soaps are wonderful for getting all of the delicious things we put onto our dinner plates off of our hands. Scented with coffee beans and coffee liqueur, this soap smells good enough to eat - but I wouldn't recommend it.

Cup o' Chai Soap

Chai Tea scented handmade soap. A wonderfully moisturizing soap with a light, fluffy lather and the warming scents of ginger, clove, cardamom and cinnamon.

Get the Crud Out Oily Skin Soap

When I was living in Pittsburgh, there was a radio station that played a lot of Led Zeppelin. Promos for this station always included the phrase "Get the Led out!". While naming this bar, this phrase kept running through my head, until it stuck.
Like the rockers, this bar is hardcore! If your skin tends towards oily, this bar is perfect. With two different kinds of clay, this soap is designed to suck impurities (crud) right out of your skin. But, with the addition of Jojoba and Avocado oils, the bar remains moisturizing, so as not to change your skin from oily to dry!

Bruce loves himself some cedar and wanted a soap that represented his favorite place in the world: Home Depot. In all seriousness, this soap smells like Home Depot. And some of us just LOVE that.

Lavender Lemonade Soap

This delicious smelling soap was inspired by a delightful lunch with a friend which included a wonderful beverage concoction of lemonade and lavender. As wonderful as the taste was, the scent was even better.

Stinging Nettle Shampoo Bar

This shampoo bar is one of our most favorited soaps. Back in the days of yore the ancient Romans used stinging nettles for their medicinal properties of treating dandruff, eczema, and psoriasis. Today we have blended this wonderful herb with tea tree oil and lavender essential oil. Together these combine to make a wonderful bar for treating a large variety of scalp issues.

Saponified Palm, Coconut, Olive, Rice Bran, Castor, Apricot Kernel oils, Mango and Shea Butter, Stinging Nettle infusion, lavender and tea tree essential oils.

Honeyed Oats & Goats

This listing is for one 4 oz. approx. unscented Honeyed Oats & Goats handmade soap. This soap is wonderfully moisturizing and leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky. Ground Oats act as a very mild exfoliant. There is no added scent to this bar - just the natural oatsy, sweet smell. Not Vegan.

Lemon Poppyseed

This soap just plain makes me happy. With the bright scents (and astringent qualities) of lemon and lemongrass and the exfoliation of poppy seeds, this is a wonderful face bar for someone with slightly oily skin. Or you can use it as a body bar just because it is so lovely.

Rose By A Nose

My beautiful sister-in-law asked me to make a rose scented soap. Since we don't use fragrance oils, I knew this would be tricky. Rose essential oils exist but they are prohibitively expensive (no one wants to pay $30 for a bar of soap that smells a LITTLE like rose). Thanks to a LOT of research and one very helpful employee of the local soap supply store, we came up with a combination of rose petals, rosewood and geranium essential oils that smell better than roses by themselves could hope to. Blended into our very popular "Lollypop" recipe (same as Lavender Fields Forever), this soap is luxurious and fragrant and very, very feminine.

Saponified Palm, Coconut, Olive, Rice Bran and Palm Kernel oils with Rosewood and Geranium essential oils and dry rose petals.

Some Enchanted Evening Primrose Facial Soap

I went looking for a facial bar that would work with my odd dry/normal/sensitive skin and everywhere I looked pointed me in the direction of Evening Primrose oil. Evening Primrose has many, many properties ascribed to it that are too numerous to mention. It is said to have astringent and pain relieving qualities. A common nickname is The King's Cure-all. What it also does in soap is help alleviate redness on the skin (just ask this particular rosacea sufferer how much better her face feels). Completely unscented except for the scents nature provided (which truthfully is not much).

Since the 1930's, Evening Primrose Oil has been a common treatment for eczema. Today, it is also a treatment for acne and psoriasis. It also balances the skin. Plus the addition of Jojoba and Avocado oils makes this bar extremely soothing and moisturizing.

Pure. Simple. Cleansing.

Cocoa Butter Kisses (formerally known as Smoothly Cocoa Butter) Facial Soap

Sometimes less is more. That is a philosophy we like to adhere to here at Pip & Lola's. This amazingly moisturizing soap is deceptively simple yet you will feel like you have splurged on the most expensive ingredients known to man. We kicked up the amount of cocoa butter to give the most softening possible from this wonderfully unscented soap.

Pip's Piquant Petals Soap

I have been having a hard time describing these soaps. Yes, they have the wonderful floral scents of rosewood and geranium but they also have the lingering goodness of ylang ylang and the slightly spicy scent from the paprika. The lather is thick and creamy and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Plus the colorful swirls are just so beautiful (especially in a sun-filled room).

Philip, The Queen's Rogue Soap

Once upon a time, there was this little "issue" known as The Black Plague. This "issue" caused many people to die. It was sad. People were poor (because no one wanted to go out to go shopping and they hadn't invented Etsy yet). SOME people took advantage of this terrible time to go out and pick the pockets of the poor souls that had been wiped out by the Plague. BUT!! What could they do to not catch The Black Death???

"Aha!" One of them thought. "We should invent a collection of oils and things that will make us IMMUNE to the Death while we go and pick a pocket or two."

And thus this scent was born. (Although it didn't work. I would ask you not to tell them, but they died so I am sure they figured it out) and I have to say this being a soap created to ward off death, this soap is KILLER.
